[SOLVED] Does MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus Support Zen 3 Out of the Box?

Looking to get the MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS tonight since my Ryzen 7 5800X should be coming soon. Will this board support it out of the box, or will I have to flash the bios? Also what would the bios flashing process be like if I don’t have a older cpu to flash it with? (I’ve heard that’s how it can be done i’m just not sure how it works) thank you.

Will likely require a bios update. Luckily that board supports updating the bios with the need for a cpu. Page 46 of the manual has the instructions for using the flash bios button

The instructions do not specify but you may need to format the usb flash drive as fat32 for it to work.
