[SOLVED] Does my 240hz monitor works better with HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.4???

My Alienware aw2518hf comes with an HDMI 2.0...it’s a 240hz monitor and i’m a bit worried on which cable to use....it supports Dp 1.2 (so 1.4 too right??), so... it works better with the cable it comes or with a dp 1.4???

Use DisplayPort, otherwise FreeSync/G-Sync won't be supported. But other than that it will work equally well with either one.

Use the cable included with the monitor.

Yes but i have graphic card with 1.4 DP...my monitor is 1.2 DP...can i use for both the 1.2???
