I'm looking to buy a new laptop for school. I'm going into software/computer engineering. I'm not a huge gamer but I would like the capability to play video games on lower settings. Should I make sure I get something with dedicated graphics? What laptops would you recommend to someone in my situation? I'm not too limited on money.

For programming, we prefer multi screen so that we can see code and also running results

This x1000. When I was a student I HATED programming in the schools lab. Single monitor attached to the computer. At my house I had two monitors attached to my PC. I could code on one monitor, and have example codes from class or online on the second monitor. This made life MUCH easier. Serious. Any time you are writing your own code I highly suggest using more than one monitor. It's great being able to see everything all at once on normal sized windows. Doesn't matter if it's Java, C+, SQL, etc. Find a way!
