[SOLVED] Does my old foxconn motherboard A78AX 3.0 AM3 support SSD?

i have an old foxconn motherboard A78AX 3.0 AM3 and i don't know i can insttall a ssd on this main board or not.
if i can, whats is best suitable 200-250 GB ssd?

It would work. But seems the Mboard only have SATA 2, means the SSD speed will be limited. But they will perform much better than Mechanical HDD.

As said it's speed will be limited however you'll notice the difference of you are currently using a hdd. I'll recommend get the wd blue or adata Su800 or mx500 all these are equipped with dram. If you are planning to install os on your ssd dram becomes very important if you are just buying to store files get anything.
