Question Does removing Google account from Android delete apps?

I stopped using my smartphone a long time ago but I recently had to fire it up again to be able to install Authy and Google Authenticator so I could get to my Bitcoins.

I obviously had to login to Google to access the play store. Since then I've removed my sim card and disabled wifi so it's not connected to the net and the apps still work. Nevertheless, I'd like to remove the login stuff. Will this make my phone uninstall the apps? I'm worried i'll get locked out of my accounts if I loose the apps!

Apps are independent of the Google Account once the apps are installed.
