Does the ASUS VG248QE ICC Profile install to the monitor itself or the PC?

I am wondering whether or not the ICC profile for my Asus will install to my monitor or my PC because I want to be able to get nice colors with my consoles as well. If this isn't the case, can someone tell me good calibration settings for consoles?

I know there are profiles within tftcentral, but I am wondering if those profiles get installed to the monitor itself, or onto the hard drive of my PC. The reason for this is because I am using my monitor for other sources besides my computer. I want a universal color calibration that can work for all of my platforms.
