Does the battery inside a gaming laptop affect it's performance?

I'm looking to purchase the ASUS TUF A15 laptop (With a Ryzen 7 4800H, RTX 2060 [Non Max-Q], 16 GB RAM [3200MHz]), so it has pretty decent specs. The only problem is that my computer store only sells the 48W battery variant instead of the 90W. This isn't really a deal breaker for me as I would have the laptop on charge while gaming (which is what I mainly intend to do), I would just like to know if the smaller battery capacity affects the gaming performance of the laptop at all, as my main concern currently is if the lower capacity variant would get less frames compared to the 90W variant. (Assuming both are tested on charge)

Some help would be greatly appreciated.
