I have a HP Probook 4540s that has been somewhat upgraded (SSD RAM) and i'm wondering how much further it can be upgraded. I've seen in a video that its CPU isn't socketed and there also looks like a empty spot a GPU could go.
My question is A: can it have a separate GPU. and B: if it can what GPU should i get.

Solution
No.

It's a quite old laptop and does not have a Thunderbolt-3 port.

This means you'll not be able to connect it to an external GPU, though you can upgrade it's RAM and Storage up to 16 GB (8+8) and 2 TB.

Whether or not you can upgrade it's cpu, it is just not worth it.
