So I'm looking to upgrade my PC and I started with upgrading the GPU to 1060 3gb. But my other components haven't been upgraded for 5-6 years and I still have my DDR2 set with Xeon E5450. How will this react to my GPU, will it damage it in any way and is it going to be better performing than my current GPU (Radeon HD5670)

The 1060 is almost 10 times faster than the HD5670.....but I think your CPU is going to struggle with the 1060....as in...t will bottleneck it some.

That doesn't mean it wont' work....it just means I don't think you will get the maximum from the 1060.
