Does this build work for ~$800

Jul 9, 2011
Here are my parts.

Case: 69.99 Antec Three Hundred

GPU: 169.99 6850 1GB

CPU/Motherboard: 332.98 I5 2500k and MSI P67A-G45

PSU: 69.99 Corsair 600W

RAM/DVD: 71.48 Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6

OS: 94.99 Windows 7 64 bit

Total: $798.41 after rebates

1) Are these parts compatible?
2) Is this a good build for the price?
3) Could i throw in another 6850 a year or so from now to stay up to date?

Thanks guys and input is appreciated.
1) Yes.
2) Pretty good.
3) Yea.

I would change the power supply.
Antec High Current Gamer HCG-520 80Plus Bronze $55 (10% off Promo code available)
As it is just as powerful, despite what it says on the box. They both have a 40A 12V rail, the Corsair only has 1 extra amp on each of the 3.3 and 5V rails.
The main reasons why I would choose the Antec over the Corsair are because it is more efficient and has a higher temperature rating, which points to better internal build quality.
You also don't have to deal with a rebate, not that that would necessarily be an issue anyway, but still...
