Does this MOBO support 1600 Ram?

Hey guys, I was curious if the motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-970a-ds3p support 1600 ram? I'm not 100% sure because it says different things on different websites. A simple yes with an explanation would be great.

If you read the specs on their website it says yes all the way up to 2000

Of course it does, its a modern motherboard. Why are you going to "different sites"? The first link on Google is the manufacturer's page with the specs.

Thanks both of you. I just looked at the manufacturer page after I posted this so I saw the actual specs. lol. Sorry for the wasted post.
