Question Does Windows 10 connect to internet automatically after fresh installation?

Recently, I did a fresh windows 10 installation to my pc.
After Installation, I couldnt connect to the internet because the network adapter was missing. It says you have to install the lan driver.

I hadn't have the lan driver in my storage drive and also couldn't update it through device manager because to update driver from device manger it needs internet.

I did almost everything, watching youtube, to find the network adapter. I did network reset also but it didn't work. It's completely missing from my computer.

Lastly, I had to install the lan driver from a usb flash drive and it solved.

I did several windows 10 installation before, they always automatically connected to internet.

This time I downloaded the windows 10 22H2 iso from tg-adguard (a mirror website to download the microsoft windows iso file)

I don't know why its happening this time!

Perhaps it was the ISO you used.

It should include the drivers, I would have just used the standard Microsoft site - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10

It could have been the iso you use which could have been modified.
I would not trust iso....other the ones from Microsoft website.
The same way they removed the drivers they could have set to have a port open .

You are right about downloading the iso only from microsoft website but I used this particular mirror website (tg-adguard) to download the iso directly and its easy.
From next time, I will try to use microsoft website instead of using others.
