Dong of the bell every 15 sec

Since I have no idea of the source causing this bell to ring, I thought I should start here with my issue.

I have been getting a dong sound every 15 seconds yet not message regarding this. I have rebooted several times and still the same. This constant 15 sec sound is driving me nuts.

How do I fix this??????

Thanks for the reply, but I went to Sound, tried to find "Scheme" and could not find it in Sounds. Also did a search and nothing came up.

Every time the sound volume is up......15 sec repeatable dong is heard. Really need some help

Hello... Please look agian...
Go to Control Panel - Sound - Sounds, select Sound scheme: AND set to "No sounds"...
If you cannot find it or "SET" it... It seems you have a BAD Windows install.

And might explain this strange behavior.
