Dorado Map Guide For Overwatch

This is an escort game mode map, with the payload being located directly in front of your spawn. You can literally run outside of the spawn door and use the payload itself for cover and get it moving right away if you can manage to push the enemy back and off of it enough.

Objective A) The gate.

When you first come out of the spawn point, it can be easy to flank the enemy by going to the left if they aren't closely watching it. You can then duck into the building and come outside right beside the payload, or continue up the stairs to hopefully get behind them and apply pressure from two sides. It shouldn't be too hard to get this payload moving to start, but once you do you'll find that right around the corner are several vantage points where the enemy can set up to look down on you and pick you off as you try to move this. Good use of flankers to pick off these defenders is key, and once you are through and into the courtyard before the gate you should be able to push the rest of the way easily enough.

Objective B) Entrance to the Lumerico compound.

While moving the payload through this area, be wary of the large building on your right hand side, the enemy can use this to sneak up behind you as you move the payload once it is past this point. That is going to be the biggest threat to moving this during this phase of the mission. Once you have turned the corner of the building itself though, there is a long balcony straight ahead that snipers and turrets can easily be set up in to deter you from moving forward here, but you can now use that building to sneak up there to deal with them.

Objective C) Inside the Compound.
If you are playing as a flanker, you can get into this compound from the balcony that is outside, this will allow you to retain the high ground and get a good view of what may be happening and jump in as required, or to clear out these upper walkways so your team can move through this area without being harassed from above. You don't have the move the payload far at this point, so keep control of the upper levels and you should be able to manage this.
