Hi! can you guys help me. my DOTA 2 and CS2 had a lot of stuttering this past few weeks. I troubleshoot using DDU and clean install driver for my graphics card. but still stuttering a lot. Can anyone help me with this?
Before, with my GTX 1650 and Core i3 10th Gen I never experienced this kind of stuttering.

my rig now is:

intel core i5 10400f
rtx 3060 gigabyte 12gb
psu corsair 650x
32g hyperx fury beast
mobo b460 tomahawk

thanks

You could run the game and open task manager at the same time to watch for cpu/gpu/ram overload spikes when it's stuttering. Also look at any processes chewing loads of resources when it happens.

ok thanks will try this one. my temp of my gpu and poc is normal as per my monitoring. i just dont get it, when i upgrade my proc and gpu it becomes laggy and stuttering. thanks

Try enabling in bios settings....

"Above 4G Decoding"
and
"Resizable Bar" if its listed.

These settings can open up access to more gpu memory at each process, possibly improving gaming performance.

Your new config is absolutely fine to run both DOTA and CS2. To me it looks like something else is causing but here are a few things you might want to check:
  • Close unnecessary background applications that might be competing for system resources.
  • Consider using a task manager to monitor CPU and GPU usage during gameplay.
  • If you've overclocked your CPU or GPU, try reverting to default clock speeds to see if it resolves the issue. Overclocking can sometimes lead to instability.
  • Ensure your system is well-ventilated and that your GPU and CPU temperatures are within normal ranges.
  • Overheating can cause performance degradation.
If you've tried these steps and still experience stuttering, consider sharing more details about your system, such as specific error messages or the exact situations where stuttering occurs.
