[SOLVED] Double-click problem with 2012 Razer Mamba ?

I have an old razer mamba 2012 mouse

About 2 weeks ago it started double clicking sometimes when i wanted only 1 click, its happening more and more. I have cleaned the mouse and i have also made sure the driver is updated. I also turned up the mouse double-click speed in Windows to a faster speed. I don't know how to solder so the youtube vidoes on those kind of fixes are beyond me. Does this pretty much mean its time for a new mouse ?

Yes, the issue is solvable by only replacing the switch that's causing the issue. It's a common problem with Razer mice. I had the same issue, just that I didn't bother replacing my Razer Starcraft II Spectre mouse's switch since the right, left and middle clicks were all double or even triple clicking. Decided to get a new mouse and store the Razer's for posterities sake, to remind me never to buy their gear.

Can't you source a local repair shop to help solder and desolder your switch(es)?
