How long do EEPROM memories used in HDDs retain all data at a temperature of 36°C?
EEPROM, like flash, does the number of erases/writes have to do with the data retention time?
2.5" and 3.5" HDDs use EEPROM or flash to store BIOS/firmware. What type of flash memory do they use? Is it the same type of flash for all HDDs that use this technology?
