Question doubt hdd smart bios firmware

what chip in PCB HDD 2.5" or 3.5" store BIOS and firmware and SMART? are 3 chips for 3 files? what type of chip?

That information is likely stored on the motherboard via CMOS.

Not on the drives....

Drive info is actually stored on the drive.

For instance, the SMART data is in hidden tracks (I think) on the physical drive.


But yes...what is the OP wanting to do with this info?
