[SOLVED] Dragon Center for GPU only?

I'm one of the lucky guys that got their hands on a 3080, specifically the MSI Gaming Trio X. Slight problem though, I hear that Dragon Center isn't great.

I'd like to use Mystic Light to either keep the GPU's rgb strip on a static color (or turn it off completely) without having issues with Dragon Center. I'm aware of some potentially solutions, including OpenRGB (MSI mobos and 30 series not officially supported), Mystic Light by itself (apparently doesn't work on 30 series or MSI x570), using duck tape to cover the rgb, covering the rgb with nail polish, and a reddit post detailing how to disable most of the non-Mystic Light "features". Anecdotally, it seems to me that most people have these problems when using an MSI mobo, as opposed to a non-MSI board with a MSI GPU.

This leaves me with three questions:
1.) Can I control the GPU's rgb with Dragon Center using a non-MSI mobo?
2.) Will there be more/less issues by not using an MSI board with Dragon Center?
3.) What is the possibility of Dragon Center messing with my hardware settings on a non-MSI board?

Thanks in advance.

looks to me like it only works on MSI motherboards, So only question 3 will have an answer.
I suspect it would cause bsod as the hardware doesn't match the software.

Okay, thanks for the answer. I'll just cover the rgb with electric tape then.
