Dram light comes on with no display.

So I just put my PC together and the specs are here

Cpu : I7-7700k
Ram : 16gb (2x8gb) Corsair vengeance
Mobo : Asus H170 pro gaming

I'm getting the dram led solid red and no video output to my monitor. I took the ram out (both sticks) and I got the no ram beep code. After that I tried one stick at a time and still got the dram led light with no display. Can anyone help me with trying to figure this out?

If this helps the cpu led comes on for a brief moment then goes to the dram and then it stays solid red.

How would I got about updating the bios with no display?

By installing a supported CPU, ordering a BIOS chip on ebay and replacing the board's one, or returning the board and buying instead a H270 or B250 board.

So what bios chip would I need to buy for my cpu?

Edit: why does Asus say they support the cpu and then needs a bios change to support it?

Is there any way I can update the bios without doing any of that?

for the exact model of your board.
Otherwise you'd need a supported cpu for accessing the bios.
The CPU is supported, but with the correct bios.
