Question DRAM light on activating EXPO

From what I've seen it's a common problem with AMD. I built my new pc and when I activated EXPO the DRAM light stays on for about 1 minute and then the pc restarts normally and enters windows. Sometimes the CPU light appears red and the DRAM light appears orange, but even so after about 1 minute it starts. With EXPO deactivated, the computer turns on normally, both lights only flash when starting up, but it only lasts 1 or 2 seconds.
I don't know much about computers, so I'm afraid I damaged something in the assembly process.
My processor is a 7800X3D and I have two Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz sticks.
If anyone can help me please, I'm almost ready to buy a new motherboard or new RAMs

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

It's not a problem for me. I have E.X.P.O enabled on a DDR5-600MHz G.Skill kit + B650i Edge WiFi board + Ryzen 5 7600x. AMD's Ryzen platform have been known to have a long POST process but latter BNIOS iterations/updates have reduced that process time. It takes me 45secs to get OS GUI from cold boot.

You mentioned DRAM LED but you forgot to mention the make and model of your motherboard. While you're adding that bit of info, please mention the BIOS version you're on at this moment of time.

I'm afraid I damaged something in the assembly process.
I don't think you've damaged anything since the system wouldn't have booted to OS GUI if there were any. You could run us by the specs to the build but I'm leaning on your BIOS needing an update.

Here is what I think is happening:
Expo is roughly the equivalent of Intel XMP.
The ram contains settings of voltage, timings and speed that allows the ram to run at higher than stock speeds.
Invoking expo/xmp loads those settings into the bios ram settings.
If the motherboard does not like those settings, it will try to find a set of settings that will work.
That might take a minute. Ram is initialized before the cpu so the cpu light stays on until the ram is set.
Not a problem. You have not damaged anything.
Most likely, you will find that the speed has been reduced to stock speeds to make things work.
Look at cpu-z to see the speed that you are actually running, and compare it to the speeds in the spd tab.
How can this happen?
Commonly users pick ram that may have the same part number, but not from the same matched kit.
That causes problems.
Ryzen performance is tightly tied to proper ram operation.
Not all seemingly similar ram will work.
Pick ram kits that show up in the motherboard's ram qvl list and has been tested.
Or, by the ram vendor's support list.

Looks like a matched kit.
Looks like you are running at the correct speeds.
Run memtest86+
It boots from a usb stick and does not use windows.
You can download it here:

If you can run a full pass with NO errors, your ram should be ok.

If you see even one error, the ram is likely faulty and you should contact Corcair about a replacement.

With expo turned on.

Use just one stick of ram in the proper slot and see what the results are.

Then repeat with the other stick of ram.
