Drivers from ati or sapphire?

Hey do i download the drivers and software from ATi AMD or from the cards manufacture site in this case my sapphire 4850 512mb dual slot from Sapphire

Which place ATi/AMD or from Sapphire

I usually download my drivers directly from the manufacturers website. i.e HIS, Sapphire.

Ive always thought u had to download from the manufactureres site but this time doing a fresh driver and software install i got it from ATi/AMD as i remeber people saying get it from ati as its more up todate and stuff.

Plus theres no modifycation on the drivers form site to site is there? Its all the same right? sapphire only make the card and add difernt coloured PCB board and differnt cooling devices the chips are all the same? maby not in the same poistion but gives same performance?

The only time you need to download from the manufacturer is if you have a mobility video card (i.e. in a laptop). Desktop cards should always use the latest driver from ATI/nvidia.
