Does anyone think the Nforce3 boards for 939 will be cheaper once the Nforce4 boards are out?

I'm assuming the nforce4 boards will be premium priced.

Not too much. PCI exp is not seeing the demand that most expected. I think the non-SLI nforce4 boards will not be much more than the nforce3 boards.

They are already pretty reasonable. I find it amazing that much technology can be manufactured for so little!

yeah, new stuff comes out and replace the highest price, everything else drops.

Price drops will depend on the supply (Taiwaneese mafia) & demand (us).

Boards generally take around a 10%-15% discount when the next chipset/features come out. Previous premium boards only dip about 5% unless there's a manufacture overstock.
