When I connect my PS4 controller in to any USB port DS4Windows stops responding and just crashes. Just a few days ago everything worked fine but now it just stopped working. I have tried to use the "hide ds4 controller" setting but it dosen't help.
I have been searching for a solution pretty much everywhere but what works for some people dosen't seem to work for me.
I am using Windows 10.
Any genius out there willing to help?

Solution
It sounds like maybe its paired between two devices, like your headset and your controller.

Try going into device manager then deleting\uninstalling your dongles driver. Then reinstall the drivers and repair your controller.
I had the same issue then moved to SCP but with recent Windows 10 update. It broke it also.

I tried going back to DS4Windows and had some issues. Something about the most recent build of Windows 10.

Have you tried removing DS4 completely and making sure the services were deleted. Then reinstall?

You could try SCP and see if it works for you also. It works for me on other systems and users on youtube says it still works for them.

Followed the guide and did the exact steps you did but my controller still wont connect. Thanks for the help anyways!

I start up ds4 and my controller is connected but when i start for example Fifa 18 it disconnects, same if i join a discord call.
