I pay $37.95 a month for AT&T DSL 3.0 Mbps, when I picked it, it was on $32.95. I like to watch some TV on my computer, (limited commerial interuptions). I realize the last mile of DSL is not shared and the last mile of Cable is shared, but am I paying too much for too little speed, I usually get just one bar for picture quality on the CBS web site.

Maximum is 4 bars for picture quality.

Don't use the CBS site to judge the speed; it has little to do with the speed.

I have 10Gbps cable, and I regularly download files at greater that 8Mbps. On my laptop I get one bar on CBS, and on my media PC I only get two bars!
