To run two AGP cards, duh

There wouldn't really be any point.

Don't step in the sarcasm!

I don't think they exist. I don't even think it's possible.

heard of dual display cards supporting two monitors, but dual AGP? does this guy want to use four monitors at a time!?

It's not possible with the architecture of AGP. I think in AGP 3.0 (AGP 8x) it is, but who knows. Besides, with the GeForce 4s having TwinView, there really isn't a point.

i use dual display for video editing and audio editing. right now i'm just using one agp and one pci...which kinda sux cuz you don't get the same preformence out of the pci card. agp would also allow me to through in an all in wonder agp and not use it as a primary display. if you haven't tried dual display guys...ur missing a lot it makes everythign so much easier! :) multitasking surfing everythign!

use the PCI card-display for light load work like typing or watching the panel etc., why would that need alot of performance?

ya because it's a port with no associated bus to connect more then one. It goes from agp to memory to cpu directly. No bus. PCI slots have a bus so you can connect more then one. But it is slower because it's using a bus that needs to be shared with other slots. Ports are faster but you can only have one. it's an architecture issue that makes it impossible.

trust me if it was possible you would have saw more then one agp slots a long time ago.

just buy a pci card and pop in it there and make sure you have AGP has the display in the BIOS.

rofl. i'm not sure if you heard about this, but they do make dual head video cards now. that's what i heard i don't know if it's true or anything. because i myself have been wondering what that second connector thingy on my video card that my second monitor is hooked up to.

I run duals because i multitask between notepad, outlook express and winamp
