I now have this VG248QE side by side with another VG248QE i bought last year. I
notice the color wasn't matching at all.
Comparing the two, my older one was more bright, but colors were dull.
The one i just bought had better color, but brightness is dull.
Things I have tried:
Swapping display outputs - no results
windows, vga, and personal calibration - no results
reset both monitors to default - no result
took a screenshot of both monitors and saved as jpeg. pictures look identical.
however a picture with my cellphone shows the difference.
I have already contacted ASUS cusomter support, and they took a week to give me this answer.

Since the date of purchase is within 30days. I request you to visit the place of purchase and get the device replaced.

also i notice printscreens/screenshot look more like right(new) monitor.
