Question Dual Boot Windows and MacOS

So I've seen many articles online regarding being able to run MacOS on a Windows. They discuss both Dual Boot or using a Virtual Machine. The articles discussing VM's provide links to download High Sierra. Before I download a VirtualBox and attempt installing, I need to make sure that (a) this method is legit and (b) my computer would have the requirements needed to support it.

Can anyone assist?

hmm to my knowledge you can only run MacOS on linux based systems through VM?

Downloading and Installing MacOS is only legal if it is to be installed onto an Apple-branded computer. Otherwise, you are breaking the contract, which is illegal and not supported.
MacOS is touchy whether it supports your hardware. If it has drivers, it will work, if it doesn't have drivers, its never going to work.
What are your PC specs/model?
Linus tech tips have shown installing mac os onto a VM running on both Ryzen and Intel systems running Linux as a host.

Legit as in legal? not by Apple, they only license their OS for Mac hardware.

Legit as in is-been-done? Probably. Check with hackintosh sites.
