I have 2 SSD's fitted to my motherboard one with Windows 10 as the OS and one with Linux (Ubuntu) as the OS.
The SSD with Windows is a New M2 PCi card with 256gb. This card is new.
The SSD with Linux is an older OCZ RevoX2 unit connected directly to a PCix16 slot on the motherboard, also a 256gb unit.
I have set up Boot Manager in the Tools section of the BIOS to be able to dual boot my computer and have named one drive Windows and the other Linux. and on start up I am offered a choice of the 2 as an option. However whichever one I chose then becomes the default and if I restart the computer whichever option I chose the computer will boot to the last OS in use before the restart. On checking the BIOS settings the drive chosen initially has become the default and no matter what choice I make at startup the system will always boot to that drive. In order to be able to boot to the other drive I need to reset the BIOS settings.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be, and how to resolve it.
I am not that technically minded so I am hoping a solution is relatively simple.
