Hello all. No games here. Just looking to build a new PC for my small business. I built a PC a few years ago, so this will be my second. Dual monitors a must (22"). Mostly run IE with multiple windows open at one time. Might also have Quickbooks, Word, Excel, Acrobat Pro and Cisco VPN running. Want something that will run FAST, with no lag. Would a MB with on board video that supports dual monitors be sufficient? AMD or Intel? Will use W7 as OS.
Thanks

I'd like to keep it around $500-$600. Don't need monitors or input devices, but need everything else. I keep reading conflicting info about using the onboard graphics for dual monitors.

I'd grab the cheapest eyefinity card you can find. Probably a 5570, might need to go as high as the 5670. It should say it supports eyefinity and it will have a display port. (DP) This way you can go up to 3 monitors if you need. And unlike onboard you won't have to worry about overloading it.

It's a good PSU, it won't have any issues. I'd try to get a better board. The 770s probably won't support BD if you want that as an upgrade path. I'd also look at a different CPU. That one doesn't have any L3 cache, so its really a mislabeled Athlon II.

I might try the onboard video first and then if it doesn't work, I can always add a video card. Just not sure if the onboard video will support 2 independent monitors. It has 3 video ports (VGA, DVI, and HDMI). If I connect monitors to 2 of the 3 ports, will that work?

No it wont. Only one port is active at a time. Unless its a board that I have never heard of...
