So i plug my dualshock to my PC using USB, it gets detected as a wireless controller and i use ds4windows (by jays2kings) to make it behave like xbox 360 controller, anyway after like 20-30 minutes the dpad just stops registering inputs its not just from ds4windows its also with the wireless controller settings in device manager, like my whole PC just stops registering inputs from the dpad alone and the only solution is to unplug and replug my dualshock, any ideas on how to fix this problem, i looked everywhere! Thanks.
Edit: i have windows 7 SP 1

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

You have some good options:

Look in Reliability History for errors, warnings, and informational events that correspond to the dpad failing to register inputs.

Likewise use Task Manager or Resource Monitor to observe system performance starting immediately with game play. Watch what happens or changes with the inputs stop registering.

Use both Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe - just one at a time though.

Remember you can sort data by clicking the column headers.

Hello, sorry for the very late replay I've been busy. Anyway i did what you suggested. First i checked Reliability History and it didn't show any problem after the dpad stopped registering and the columns were empty. Second i checked resource monitor. I noticed there was a program called "system interrupts" when i googled it's name i found out it's the program responsible for translating input, so i thought it was the problem, but it wasn't. It used a respectable amount of cpu topping a 7% percent usage for less than second when i pressed everything on the controller. What was weird is when the dpad stopped registering input, system interrupts used a little bit of cpu when i pressed any button on the dpad although it stopped registering (i use game controller settings to check inputs) so the system is probably aware of an input but can't translate it? I don't know. As for task manager nothing weird happened. No program or services appeared or stopped when the dpad stopped registering input. So i'm now stuck. If you have any other solutions or suggestions i'll appreciate it. Thanks.
