Question duel booting problem

So i recently bought a macbook pro 13, i want to install kali linux on there from a usb and install to hard drive so i can duel boot it . But im stuck, i have partioned my drive and downloaded kali linux and run the refiend boot manager. When i boot i dont get the option to boot from kali thats on the usb waiting for install, i just want to install it but its not showing up? any help would be great thanks

If you get the rEFInd boot menu but the USB stick doesn't show up as bootable, then you haven't created the USB install image correctly. Are you sure that you followed the procedure correctly? http://docs.kali.org/downloading/kali-linux-live-usb-install

it is showing up now and just made it a live usb but when i try to boot into it, it says files not found and aint supported?
