I'll be upgrading soon to A64 but after doing a little reading I don't know exactly what is Hyper Transport Tech. and how A64 procs benefit from it. I've heard several companies in the IT industry are involved in it but I don't know what does it do for a cpu...
Maybe a dumb little question, but... hey! I'm no geek...
Of course the basic dumbed down version is that HTT is just a means of communicating between processors in a clean way. (Whether they be CPUs, northbridges, or whatever.) The benefit is that the less time wasted communicating is the more time spent processing.
