1. Why is my DVD drive reading my CD-R as a DVD-RW?

2. Also, I'm burning a CD to put in the car. When I first tried it I tried using a DVD, but found out that it doesn't take DVD with music on it. So then I take a CD-R (same one as 1.) and burn it using Windows Media Player (I would use iTunes but that's not working). When it's done burning, it creates a Music folder with the songs and at the root there's this music file which is the first song of the playlist? Why and how to get this to work!?

Q. Are you having problems trying to read the CD in the car or the PC?
A. The car can't read it and the PC can read the files, meaning I can browse through files and songs

Q. What is make & model of car CD player?
A. I don't know the model of the CD player, it's built-in. I looked in the owner's manual and it didn't say what it's model was.

Q. did you burn the CD as an audio CD?
A. In Windows Media Player, I burned clicking on start burning which burned them on the CD. I could view the different files on the CD. I saw the audio files, so I guess I didn't burn it as an audio CD?
