DVD Drive will not work after Windows 7 install

So I just installed windows 7, and now the drive wont work, I have searched the internet and everything, I updated drive, deleted the low and upper keys, re isntalled the cd rom driver, what else is missing? I cant even boot a CD... Please help. (WIndows 7 HP)

Might have failed , is it showing in the Device manager?

Yes, it shows in device manager, it doesn't even have anything next to it (question marks etc.)

Mr. Fix only found that, Media is not readable, and this happens for every disc i put in.
