DVI to VGA

I'm planning on putting a gtx 680 into my computer, but my monitor does not support DVI, so im going to use a DVI to VGA cable, will this cause any problems?

Alright, as long as no problems come out of it, I don't see much of a difference in other high priced monitors. Apart from the fps
