DX12 and MANTLE

So i was trying to understand with the new windows 10 we will have the new DX12 which will make the gaming experience rocket high. BUT we will be able to have BOTH mantle and DX12 or we have to choose which one we want?

one or the other, you can't double the performance by using both.

AMD is dropping mantle now that both OpenGL and DX will be pretty much the same as what mantle was.

i see. got it. also smt more. dx 12 is going to give a big boost at amd cards or its just a myth? i have read that i will boost both amd and nvidia but the amd will be the one with the most benefits out of it. True or not?

AMD get the most boost for the CPU.
