Hi there people!
I have a Dynamic Disk which just suddenly went "Invalid".
I have searched through the Internet but none had my problem.
===================================
I have a Windows 10 on a SSD and was using this Dynamic H.D.D as storage.
Now it's labeled "invalid" in Disk management. the Option "Reactivate Disk" is available but return with an error: This operation is not allowed.
Converting to Basic disk option is also shown, but I need my data.
===================================
Then I tried third party apps to convert dynamic disk to basic without data loss.
Easeus: Shows the disk at unallocated, when I try to convert to basic disk or data recovery, The application says: Disk offline.
I tried bringing the Disk online using diskpart, but it says the disk is already online.
===================================
I've tried minitools and AOMEI, They labels the Disk as Bad Disk.

===================================
I've tested the whole disk and it shows 3 bad sectors and healthy.

does Anyone know what's happened to the disk?
can I clone the Disk on a new one and would it work?
I think the only option left is deep data recovery. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestion.

Could we see the Partitions window in DMDE?

The fact that the HDD reports 3 bad sectors suggests that the drive is ill but not yet dead. In such cases the best DIY approach would be to clone it with a tool that understands how to work with bad heads/media. I recommend HDDSuperclone or ddrescue.

Do not remove the drive's cover. Doing so will introduce data destructive contaminants.

I really appreciate your help. I will try this method and let you know about the result.
