Well im haviing some problems... Not actually sure if its a problem

i bought my computer 3 days ago and before i overclocked it it was around 37 degrees idle and on games it was around 47 But now that i overclocked it its 45 and sometimes 47 on idle and 55 on games....

i want my computer to live along time as i payed $1800 for it

Heres the specs:

Intel Core2Duo E6400 2.13GHZ NOW 2.64GHZ
Corsair 2gb Ram 667mhz
Seagate 250GB Harddrive 16mb catch
ATI Sapphire Radeon X1950XT 256MB

and this is what i did:
CPU frequency: 330
pci frequency: 100
pci clock synhoziation: 33.33mhz
spread spectrum : Disabled
Memory Voltage: 2.1 ( i think )
cpu vcar = 1.45
CIE: DISABLED

have i missed anythink?

well you can slowly lower the cpu vcore to find the lowest vcore you can run @ that speed.....

i would almost bet you can run 330 @ stock vcore.....

Also....if your temps are from Core Temp.....then you are just fine......

and you temp increase may be allot to due with a lack of speedstep when over clocking

Dosen't look to bad to me.

I agree that you should lower you Vcore.
At the speed you are running at it should be fine at or near stock.

Check your temp's with core temp if you arn't already and post those temps.

Are you using stock cooling?

very sorry but i forgot to say, im not using the stock fan as i bought somethink beeter worth $60 "THERMALTAKE BIG TYPHOON"

link u gave me dont work...?

Your heat is coming from Vcore, and possibly less than ideal case ventilation. Intel's spec for Vcore is 1.3525. You shouldn't need to exceed this value with the light overclock you've set. You should typically be able to OC from 2.8 to 3.2 Ghz without increasing Vcore, so try setting spec 1.35 Vcore and 350 Mhz FSB for 2.8 Ghz. You may find this combination works well as a moderate OC with reasonable temps. You can fine tune it from there for stability at max FSB. 8)

Well to tell the truth im so scared that somethink has happend im gonna post my settings once again and ask if its ok?

Exptree Frquecy: 100
pci frequency: 33.33mhz
disabled speed spectrum
disabled q fan
disabled c1e

No i realy don see where i can change the ram number ( 5-5-5-12 ) so maybe thats why its overheating?

i cant download Coretemp but have no clue why, MAYBE cause links not working?

Can some1 tell me what i should change again please JUST to be on safe side :)

i changed my AI Settings to AUTO and its on 43 right now, only got itunes and firefox open...When it was on MANUAL it was around 47 - 48

Lower that VCore to 1.35V and set any options to turn your fan on all the time i.e NOT controlled speed for noise reduction.

My E6600 runs at 1.35V and 3.2GHz and sits only a few degrees above ambient room temp (e.g 32 degrees last night) and a max of 52 deg with Prime95 on both cores.

Check the temps with coretemp http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/

ok guys thanks for ALL of yourt comments and help

i got my computer to run at 2.68ghz, When i make it 2.76 it freezes while using 3dmark05

on idle its around 38 - 39 and on Games and stuff its around 46

Thanks a bunch guys 😀
