E8400 @ 4.0 Ghz How LOW can you go????

Enough of the Q/A for now. Time for some FUN!!!! How LOW can you run your Vcore on your E8400 @ 4.0 GHz????

10-15 Minutes Prime small FFT will be enough. Not going for 24/7 stability.

My best (so far) is 1.224v, still working on it though.

It's on an old Asus P5KC P35 mobo. What configuration would you like? NOT what I had planned for this thread.

I won't even post screenies because after I tell you this you won't care. But honestly the lowest I can go for Vcore on my E8400 C0 is 1.395V@4050, 450FSBX9 on an XFX 780i, but the temps are fine. Anything lower and it failed me at 14hours ish of small ftts.

Seems to be a crap shoot with the C0's, I've seen some that take hardly any volts and others that take a lot.

But as long as the temps are good, your in good shape. Thanks for the post.

1.18xxxVcore for 4ghz on my E8400 E0 i need 1.192xxvcore to be stable under sustained load.
