There's also speculation that EA may release an HD version for the next-gen consoles slated to be officially announced during E3 2013 next June.

Is that speculation of a Medal of Honor Allied Assault HD remake? That would be awesome.

Why? They butchered BF3 once it's compared to BF2 or BF2142. I for one will not be buying BF4 and will probably be saying bye to the FPS genre until they stop being CoD copies.

BF3 is a nice game now, go check it out if you haven't lately. Took them a little too long to get out the bugs, but I guess that happens when you use a brand new engine.

As for BF4, I will be a bit cautious in a purchase this time. Hopefully it isn't out till 2014.

As for 360 and PS3, I highly doubt that they will make BF4 for them. I think it is really just a cover up, as MS and Sony don't want any info released on their next consoles.

I guess BF2 is partly to blame for the rise of the modern military fps, but we're even more sick of modern shooters now than we were of WW2 shooters back in the mid-2000s.

BF3 killed the series anyway. Too much focus on consoles, badly designed maps, no teamplay...

Battlefield 3 is the worst game I've played in the past couple years. Rampant hacking, client-side hit detection, connectivity bugs galore, no mods or custom content, no private servers, and player/vehicle-improving unlocks mean I won't go near Battlefield 4. I bought BF3 to play with friends only to find it to be the most friend-unfriendly multiplayer game I've played in years. I can't see how anyone can get legitimately excited for BF4 especially given it's being targeted for hardware so old my 4-year old laptop could run the game.

The Battlefield series doesn't have fans anymore, just kids looking for the newest shooter. I'm embarrassed about how excited I was for BF3. That won't happen with BF4. I'm still playing BF2 everyday and will continue to do so until the servers are empty.

Swearing has nothing to do with religion. There is plenty of swearing in the bible. You won't be sent to Hell or anything for swearing, it is just morally wrong, intelligent people look down upon those who can't find better words.

They released a "HD" version of BF:MC on the 360, while it was out on the PS2/Xbox1. So, I wouldn't be too shocked to see a repeat of this.

With that said, I will NOT be pre-ordering/buying BF4 unless they make it for PC 1st and scale it to console unlike what they did with BF3 where they made PC a focus at one point then switched to console.

also, it need to have a main menu and NOT use origin. I've been playing since BF2/BF:MC and I will NOT be buying BF4 if it requires Origin or is just copy pasta BF:BC on PC again..

BF 4, MW X, CoD X... yawn.. these games are and have got repetitive and boring. How long before the mass of kiddies are tired of spending $60 for yet a new copy of the same crap over and over. It wont be to much longer and you will not even be able to trade the dude in for something else.
