[citation][nom]Yuka[/nom]Oh, that's not a fanboi comment at all. Look at the Crysis 2 sales, for example. When they took it away from Steam it stopped selling until they put it back in. Same for the Need For Speed franchise and Dragon Age games. MOH is another victim of REALLY bad decision and management from EA's board of folks that don't want to admit their own faults. They gave their back to a solid user base using a very stupid excuse and trying to put the blame on Steam just to try and push Origin down the throats using BF3 and ME3 as Trojan horses. You cannot deny that. Their own stupid corporate greediness has been the downfall of EA.Also, take a look at the Sports games from EA which are on Steam. They're doing great and EA can't deny that. So, like I said, it's not a fanboi comment at all.And RussK1, Origin sucks ass, don't try and deny that.Cheers![/citation]

Crysis 2? Come on! #1 most pirated game... bad comparison.

What's wrong with Origin? I don't think it "suck's ass" at all. The client has to be installed the same as Steam, GFWL, Gamefly... a few simple clicks and you're done. Have you ever tried to use Steam support or have made a support ticket? It isn't the most expedited process, if fact it's like molasses in winter time.

[citation][nom]Yuka[/nom]There's a single word for EA's failures and one word that will put them back in the game:Origin and Steam, respectively.Really, EA, really. If you haven't pulled out the games from Steam, you would not be in this position AT ALL. And don't give us the "oh, Steam and their draconian TOS!". Just give them a bloody copy of the patches you put and it will be fine. Stop trying to push Origin down our throats (well, not mine; don't have any EA game with it) and then you'll sell stuff again.Cheers![/citation]

Origin is not inherently bad. I mean it does some shady stuff but I can understand why EA wanted to control their own distribution platform and cut out fees to Valve. With that said though, EA is mismanaging it horribly. I remember their CEO defending Origin and stating its about choice and letting consumers have a choice. Well that is good and all but when you go off and make your games exclusive on Origin instead of using all digital platforms you are just being a hypocritical prick. This was one of the last nails on EAs coffin for me. I avoid their games just out of principle now.

Today's shooters are pretty boring, simple and skill-less, I miss the days of Unreal tournament, quake arena, HL Death Match, Opposing Force, etc. Those were the good ole FPS days when you actually had to have map knowledge, strategies and tons of skill.

[citation][nom]demonhorde665[/nom]CoD and battle field also need to be pulled ...seriously tired of countless tactical shooter clones.[/citation]

Then don't buy them. Those of us that like tactical shooters will continue to play and enjoy them without you just fine.

+1

Some people just aren't good so think the games shouldn't exist. These people are obviously are in the minority...
