Easy Tune 5 - Gigabyte 965P-S3 - options disabled?

Hiya,
Just setting up my new system and I've installed 'Easy Tune 5' and playing with it a bit.

Smart Fan is grayed out for some reason and I cant seem to work out why.
Also MIB and MIB2 are grayed out and I can only select CIA and CIA2.

Anyone know why and how I can fix it.

Most probably Easy Tune messed something up. Do you have the problem with everything at stock speeds?

Was planning to OC the system.

From what I've read around the forum, shouldn't be too hard to get it up to 3Ghz.

If youre are going to OC do not, under any circunstance, use Easy Tune 5. That program changes voltages and other settings without you knowing, which causes instability as you have experienced.
3Ghz on that motherboard will be a piece of cake in any C2D chip.

I couldn't get Easy Tune to work consistently. It seemed to get in hassles with the settings in BIOS and I was having problems loading Windows. Like you some of the areas wouldn't even open. The "easy" overclock barely budged the needle and the manually set ones kept changing. I eventually completely uninstalled the program along with several others that came with the board.
