What's the good solution to this problem? I did some researching but the suggestions are not working properly on latest Windows 10. I want to protect one of my private folders with password.
Protect from whom? Are you sharing your computer with someone else using same user name / password? That's bad habit...
In the above scenario - zip your private folders, set a password, and delete originals. Otherwise, just don't give that other user account access to them (which is default Windows behavior).
The only way to make sure they're protected from everyone (including the person managing your office) is to put them into encrypted ZIP file, and extract them when needed. OTOH - if you work in an environment where you think your private data is not private, your data does not belong to that computer.it is the office computer. i just want to protect my private folders.
Office computer. Meaning Not Your Computer.it is the office computer. i just want to protect my private folders.
