I am aware of the index or not to index question and have a related but indeed different question.
I am migrating old pc and several old backup HDD to a new computer. Before doing so, however, I am purging as much unnecessary data as possible, like tmp files, download files, etc.
The .edb file I am not sure about. I would not delete it from my current OS drive or my primary data drive. However, I searched *.edb on the drives and partitions that are literally just old storage, some of which are backups that are in the backups dating back to the beginning of time. I rarely access these files, but do occasionally.
In these old drives, there are a few file locations that have BIG storage. Take a look at the image and let me know if you think it would be safe to delete the files from the D drive (! zzzzzz ! ) folder. What are the ramifications if I do delete those files?
The E is an old computer clone that has already been purged. What remains will be obliterated by a partition wipe.
Thanks in advance.
