Hi

I have an Edifier S760D (5.1) speaker system. Source: https://www.edifier.com/product-s760d.html

In Windows 10 when I have to set up Speaker Setup there's this part "Select full-range speakers".
3bc68406-2665-4260-a753-1058c66b3c21

and I was wondering should I put a checkmark on them or not?

I checked the website of the speakers and it says: "The two-way satellite speakers, with professionally calibrated crossovers, is equipped with 3.5-inch mid-range drivers and 1-inch silk dome tweeters. "

But I don't even know if it's even related to this option.

Solution
First no, I'd leave them unchecked. If you're still inquisitive, you can tick the box, move onto next and then see if the audio sounds better. Second, is that a screenshot of what you're seeing, meaning you only see the option for stereo audio output? If so, then you should consider connecting the other 3.5mm to RCA cables to the subwoofer to get 5.1 audio output off of your platform, provided your sound card or audio output device does have ports to populate to get 5.1 audio output.

If you're working with a motherboard's onboard audio solution, please mention the make and model of your motherboard.

"Second, is that a screenshot of what you're seeing, meaning you only see the option for stereo audio output?"

No, that's just a random picture, I couldn't attach my own picture. In my Speaker Setup I see the 5.1 setup, I click on the speakers they will play a note on the respective speaker.

The sound in on the motherboard onboard: ASUS - ROG Strix X570-F Gaming.
