[SOLVED] Edimax Router Problem

I have recently bought an Edimax Router N150 model for my home use. But as per the instructions, I cannot open the default index page to configure the router.
I previously owned another Edimax router, so I know how to configure it. But this time, the default ip http://192.168.2.1 is not coming up.
I have reseted the Router as per the instructions, like for 8-10 secs and then opened it after 1/2 mins.
But still nothing happens. I selected the "Obtain an IP address automatically" but still nothing.
When I try to Ping it says.. "ping transmit failed general failure"
Again if I put in 192.168.2.5/10 as IP, then also it says "ping transmit failed general failure"
I have Turned off Firewall, Turned off defender. No other Antivirus installed.
My LAN port is working, as I have connected it with other cable, and it's working properly.

What else can I do about this?

Could you please give us a specific model for your Edimax Router?

Are you sure that the default IP is 192.168.2.1? It's pretty standard for a router to have a default of either 192.168.0.1/192.168.1.1, though it is quite possible that it's something different.

Yes in the Setup Manual they provided, it says, your default IP is 192.168.2.1 with login id-admin and password-1234

It's actually similar(setup) to the previous one I had.
And it says there, to enter this IP address in the browser's address bar, so the index page will come up.
Where I can configure the Router accordingly.. like Dynamic IP/Static IP as provided by the ISP to me.
But it doesn't come up...
