Question eGPU on dead GPU. Can I do IT?

Hello.
I just got old laptop but it says it's GPU is dead. I found the way how to make it run again. There is a HUGE problem...
How do i install drivers and make them run?
Laptop:
ASUS Z96J
I am not going to play new games on this. I just need an extra laptop.
