What is a VGA card thing? It's really sad that I'm building a computer and don't know this 🙁. Is it a video card?

VGA is technically a port on ur gfx card its blue colored

you are gonna need a gfx card now lemme see wha tmotherboar dur gettin and RAM ill tell u what ur gonna need after that

also are u a gamer? or what will u use the PC for?

VGA= Video Graphics Array
without it you would have no way to send the video to your monitor

Nah I don't really want to buy from Dell...too expensive. I'm getting a nVidia A8N-SLI Motherboard off Newegg. I also want to get 2x1GB RAM from A-data, and a nVidia Geforce 7800 GTX. The processor is a AMD Athlon 3800 at 2.4 GHz. I can't afford a water cooling system right now so I'm going to buy a fan for the 7800 and not over clock anything until I get more cash. Oh and there's a 400GB hard drive that should come soon. Yes, this will be a gaming PC for sure. Definetely.

VGA is simply the one that controls the output that comin' out of your monitor's screen, in short, it's a video card.
