Hello. I hope this is the right place to post this.
I am using an RTX 3090, I9 - 11900K with 32 GB of ram and Elden Ring will sometimes run beautifully at its 60 FPS cap, but most of the time when I launch the game it runs terribly with its FPS never rising above the low 30s.
Changing the resolution to 1080p and lowering the settings had no effect on this what so ever, and there have been a few times where the my FPS will start at 60, then slowly decrease into the single digits, give me a black screen, then the black screen will disappear with the FPS being capped to 30 again. I have no idea what is going on, but I know my computer can handle the game at 60 FPS in 4k as I have had a few sessions where I played for hours on end with perfect performance. I don't know what changes. It is usually after turning my computer off and back on this happens.
The temperature on my CPU and GPU are typically in the high 50s/ low 60s.
